Seriously though.......Expense.
I thought nations did drill for oil in international waters, but if they don't it would probably be because the waters to deep, pirates, or some enviromental law.
Apparently, nothing. I read where China is going to drill for oil in the gulf of Mexico, close to Cuba. They plan to put the pumping stations on Cuba, then sell the oil to us.

That portion of our own shores have a lot of oil reserves, and our own stupid liberals pass idiotic laws stopping us from drilling our own oil so that we can preserve starfish that some cornball fake scientists claims is endangered.
