No no no. It's patently false. Cheney made a claim the other day that China was drilling off the coast of Cuba...off the US coast...two days later, his office issued a statement to the AP saying, in fact, he 'erred'. The day after Cheney said it, a GOP member of Congress from Florida presented to the Senate maps and charts stating that China is drilling nowhere off the coast of Cuba or the US and that anyone who said otherwise was wrong.Is there any truth to Chinese Oil drilling firms slant drilling near the coast of Florida?
I heard that they were negotiating with Cuba to do just that and that we have a moratorium on offshore drilling..
