Are you stupid? Sure lets just give away one of the largest timber, water, fishing,drilling states ever. Not to mention the amount of tourism here. What do you plan on doing with all of us that actually live here? Are we to be traded off to China because we are not your damn neighbor? Alaska is not a territory, it's a state. When's the last time the USA ceded to anyone? WE are not in the practice of giving up land, rights or anything to any nation. This will never be an option for the US. Im thanking God right now twits like you have no congressional power. Instead of worrying about a nation that does not directly affect you or your neighbors or hell your town, how bout you go donate some of your time and ';efforts'; to a local shelter. Go do something good with yourself rather than rant on issues you are obviously not qualified for.
Viola--the debt owed to the US in no sense is anywhere near what we ';owe'; China--trillions of dollars actually. It's frightening, frankly, but we keep issuing those T-bills. And China HAS been cashing them in, raising the amount of debt service we have to pay every month.

Might as well. The Democrats don't want us to drill for our own oil anyway. And now that Obama will be president, and there is a majority of democrats in congress. We may as well let China have it if we can't.

No I think we should give them all the debts owed to the US by other countries that are not paying us. Let them collect and our bill will be taken care of and everyone is happy
