Bush should make the congress stay in session until the drilling for oil is settled?

KEEP THEM IN SESSION AROUND THE CLOCK UNTIL A BILL IS PASSED......Someone will allow the bill to get to a vote even if someone needs to hogtie the democrat leaders and gag themBush should make the congress stay in session until the drilling for oil is settled?
There is drilling and exploration for oil going on all over the US so what is to be settled? Oh you mean ANWR and offshore. That won't happen. Oil companies have desired those areas (in particular ANWR) for 30 years. It seems their little ploy about a supply shortage didn't work. Maybe we Americans are getting a bit smarter concerning the con of large companies.Bush should make the congress stay in session until the drilling for oil is settled?
If they continually vote no, they continually vote no.

There isn't really anything he can FORCE congress to do......they can tell him to go fly a kite if they wish.

When will you realize that oil fields and oil wells are capped right now? They aren't pumping, not sure why, but they aren't. Check out Thomsons Point Alaska and see for yourself how this issue really plays out.

Oh, and they need to build more refineries....US Companies refine oil for most of the free world.....I don't hear you ';declaring'; them to sell the refined oil to us here in the states before they sell it for more elsewhere.....
Bush does not have the authority to make Congress do a damn thing it doesn't want to.

And will you cons quit whining about ';drilling for oil? bush lifted the executive order banning offshore drilling. The oil companies can drill if they like. So WHAT is your problem?
Even if they struck oil tomorrow, we don't have the capacity to refine the stuff. We haven't built a new refinery in more than 30 years. Do you want it in your back yard.

Yaaa that's what I thought.

Next Question.
He doesn't have that kind of dictatorial power. This is America.

The oil drilling issue is settled. Congress leased 99 million acres to Big Oil. They choose not to drill at this time.
I see the question mark, but it sounds like a declarative sentence.
Bush does not have that power.
It is settled, what's your problem? Can you not accept reality?
