Cuba itself will not be drilling for oil, it will be the Chinese who made the agreement with Cuba to let them drill off the Cuban coast. Yes this oil could be ours

The Democratics in congress has banned the US from drilling off the Coast of Florida, so with the agreement with Cuba, the Chinese will be drilling





The Democrats also banned the expansion of drilling in the Gulf, so the Mexicans are going to expand





The Liberals are making the US, not only dependent of foreign oil, but they are forcing us to pay big bucks to foreign countries at the expense of the American citizens

They will be drilling in international waters meaning its not our oil. Also once again I will say that 80% of federal land is open to oil companies to drill on and they aren't even drilling on 1/2 of that. As for off shore drilling the head of the oil institute on Sunday said when asked about there lack of drilling said they have every drilling rig there is drilling and he can't magically produce more so ask yourself why do they need more places to drill when they aren't drilling in the places they can now.

The same way it is OK to ask Saudi-Arabia to produce more oil with full desregard to ';environmental problems with mother Earth, but is not OK to drill here. Like we have two planets, one for tree-hugging nuts, another one for the rest of the world
Here`s how I feel about it !. The only way you will ever get Congress to stand up for the American citizens is to require them to live as middle class citizens do ! No more self anointed pay raises at will ; No more pension`s of the astronomical amount`s they get now ; work the hour`s the middle class does on a yearly basis ; cut out their expense account`s so they pay their own way just like we do !! If all this happens , you will see an immediate change in attitude toward drilling anywhere we can !!
Our so called president has said we should start drilling for our own. And Florida has said that they would prefer for us not too. As they are afraid that it would stain their beaches. So we need to drill we have plenty of chances in Alaska and up and down the coasts. So we should be we need a President who will do right and Bush is not that man. So we will see. Cuba is stuck in their own rut and we do not need to help them. But then who knows. We need a Congress that will stand up for us.
Would you care to provide us all with a map of the area along with the location of the oil fields in question so that we can all get a better idea of where ';us '; ends and ';them ';begins.


If the oil fields are in Cuban territorial waters then we don't really have much say in the matter do we ?
