What are the estimated returns (in barrels of oil) from drilling in ANWR?

Why would this amount be important to our energy economy or why would it be insignificant? What are the estimated returns (in barrels of oil) from drilling in ANWR?
Sorry I don't know. Good luck

its hard to estimate reserves without true sub-surface data. the quotes made now are from offset data that gives a prediction of what might be found. The energy economy is more then just getting oil to the surface, its getting it to the people. SO if we can get the oil to the surface (taxed there) then to the Ship (taxed there) then to the refinery (taxed there) and out to the pumps (taxed there) and into cars homes and manfuctering (taxed there), with less cost then it will be important to the economy.

what is efficient about ANWR is the proximity to infrastructure for transport and refining. since most of our nations pipeline structure, is privily built, and maintained. its more cost efficient to use existing pipelines.

Its a lot more then hoe much is there.
