I am sick and tired of not being able to get to our own oil. Along with global warming farce. These whackos are doing more damage than any comunist are!, oh wait these guys are commies. How many folks out there want to see Bella Pilosi shut up and allow a vote on drilling for oil?

Pelosi is doing exactly what she was put there to do: Keep the status quo going until The Big O can get his skinny butt in the White House. You can bet your @ss they are going to drill when/if he is elected. Doing it now would make folks realize that Bush was right and then they would want to elect McCain. The big liberal machine can't find any credible way to elect the man, so they are going to bet the flock of greenies are too stupid to see through their crap. How many folks out there want to see Bella Pilosi shut up and allow a vote on drilling for oil?
The first drop of oil that would be pumped would be 10-11 years from now. Even if we wanted to drill now there are insufficient oil rigs to do the drilling. And what of the leases the oil companies now has that are not be drilled upon? If they leased them they must have some expectation that there is oil down there. I am beginning to wonder if Big Oil started this price crisis to leverage the country into drilling on scenic sights such as the coast of Florida and California and in ecological damage such as the North Slope. Would not be the first time ';Big Ohl: - as they say in Houston has snookered the U.S.
I made up my mind some time ago. If drilling is not opened up on both coasts, I will vote solid Republican for the congress and presidency.





It will take more than just a vote and the legislation has to be such that drilling can be accomplished.

They better let us get out there and drill before other countries get there first. I saw that they're OK with drilling, but it'll be regulated to death.....which is why there's no oil industry in the US now.
