Where was John McCain crying about the oil drilling ban in 1990-2006? ?

Shouldn't he get the blame for high oil prices? He was in a Republican congress with a Republican President part of that time.Where was John McCain crying about the oil drilling ban in 1990-2006? ?
Until the Democrats took over Congress in 2007, the price of oil was manageable. Then it soared.

There was also a BAN on offshore drilling in place and there was nothing that could be done.

That ban expires this year.

Something can FINALLY be done but the Democrats refuse to do it.

McCain sees the wisdom of changing US policy because circumstances have changed.

Obama and the Democrats refuse to change it because of political expediency.

They put their party and themselves above their country.

Calvin Coolidge said that patriotism is looking out for yourself by looking out for your COUNTRY first.

That is why McCain should be YOUR choice for president.

He's looking out for YOU and your COUNTRY.

Not himself.

Wasn't important then. Now that he's running for president, it's a huge issue, obviously.

Ahh...the playing of politics with America's energy future.
Be fair.

He was busy with Ted Kennedy drawing up a plan for illegal alien amnesty at the behest of President Bush.
Gasoline was not $4-5 a gallon then. That kind of trumps the environmental concerns, hence the change in his position.^
Sure, go ahead an blame him. It was ALL his fault, every bit of it. No one else. Just him.
He was probably in one his 10 luxurious mansions.
There was no need to cry because oil was $40 per barrel.
Times change, issues change, if you are for change you need a maverick.

Vote McCain!
was there an oil crisis at the time?

No

Do yourself a favor

Log off YA and get your uneducated *** to school
Oh, you mean when gas was less than $2 / gal?!!!
