Which is odd, because that's exactly what many Democrats have proposed (windfall profits tax on oil companies), and Republicans have opposed the idea.





Palin has supported drilling in ANWR, which is a bad sign. So she's kind of a mixed bag when it comes to the oil industry. However, I have no doubt she'd support increased drilling just like McCain.





My main complaint is that McCain has been criticizing Obama for being too inexperienced, yet he could drop dead at any time and then we would have an 18 month governor of a state with a very small population as the president of the United States.
