I'm with you! Let's kick 'em all to the curb starting with Pelosi and that other she banshee from California. They (Democrats) have nothing but contempt for the people of this country. Most of them are a bunch of limo liberals. (Kennedy doesn't want windmills near his property in Mass. because he thinks they're ugly and ruin his view!!). These people are two-faced and want us to become socialist like Europe. Can you imagine Nationalized healthcare? I'm sorry to disappoint you but all polls and evidence points to Democrats getting even more wins coming up.





The reason why Congress hasn't accomplished anything is a mix of 2 things: One, a moron sitting in the Executive chair, and Two, too small of a lead over the Republicans to overcome his veto power.





Second I have never seen the full results of that poll, but I want to bet a huge percent of the approval responses were simply ';I don't know';. But even if not, the Democrats have barely a majority so the Republicans in Congress are almost as culpable.





I would also try to address your stance about drilling but nobody seems to want to listen to the reality. Drilling for oil would do nothing to affect our supply of oil or the gas prices for 10 years or more and they would be minuscule. This is the words of the federal government, not mine.
I watched the Senate talk about the energy issue on cable, most of the day yesterday. We have a Congress of whiners...on both sides of the aisle.


They were unbelievably petty, for the most part and were very concerned about taking care of the business on their agenda before they are scheduled to go home in 8 days.


Time to put in a little overtime, boys?????
78% of this nation are for drilling so you can bet Congress will change their opinion, they don't want to drop lower in the polls but you also should keep in mind Obama is against drilling too so lets see if he changes on this topic, too.
I'm not being partisan here, I'm just being realistic, Democrats are poised to expand their majorities in both houses in 2008, whoever wins the White House.
We need an alternative source of energy, we need to stop the addiction to fossil fuel
