With all the drilling for oil/gas what happens to the voids that are left when product is removed?

If millions of units are being removed daily from the earth from great depths What happens to the holes left, they can not be filled with water or sea levels would drop, so what happens ?With all the drilling for oil/gas what happens to the voids that are left when product is removed?
the offshore drill holes are filled with sea water. and it doesnt worry the sea levels, if anything it helps due to the ocean rising. In venice alot of their basements are filling due to global warming and im sure they would be glad to have the water recede a little bit, but i dont think the drilling operations can keep up with the icebergs melting up north.
