Do you think an oil drilling company would hire a teacher for the summer?

I could pass the drug test and I'm fairly smart. There's a lot of $8 an hour jobs out there but it's not worth ruining my summer to work at them.Do you think an oil drilling company would hire a teacher for the summer?
the best way to find out is apply. Otherwise you will never know. It is possible they might depending on your background besides teaching, a lot of people only work rigs for the winter as that's when they are busiest ( where I'm from anyway).
