Who will benefit and who will not with more offshore oil drilling?

I for one, will not. The ocean is my sanctuary and its already littered with rigs and their heated 'seepage'. Meanwhile its only the oil companies who will be lining their pockets with our resource (oil) and charging you as much as they can for it. It sure makes it more fun when the price goes up, they see the panic in your eyes like dollar signs.Who will benefit and who will not with more offshore oil drilling?
Oil companies and the politicians that support them in this endeavor will benefit. Everyone else will not benefit. Other people that only know the propaganda and not the facts will try and tell you that America will benefit, which is not true.Who will benefit and who will not with more offshore oil drilling?
Latest techniques are safe for the environment in off shore drilling, so don't sweat the poor little fishes. WE as a species have killed off more species by over harvesting than the oil companies can kill off.Palins husband is not an oil baron, but a commercial fisherman, maybe works for bp, but selling gas is not the same as owning the company.
The consumer will benefit.

Reducing our oil imports will also help our balance of trade and make us less dependent on foreign countries.
The dead will not benefit for sure:

Americans will benefit if we do, Al Gore will benefit if we dont
Everyone will benefit.
Sarah Palin's husband will benefit.

if their are oil spill because of the drilling, we will all be paying for it.
